Josie lives and works in Shropshire. She was born in Lancashire and studied at Wigan College of Art and Sheffield Hallam University gaining both a 2:1 (BA Hons) in Multimedia & Design and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

“My principal painting medium is mixed media, working primarily in watercolour and pen. My work is largely inspired by the landscape, particularly the Upper Clun Valley, the Upper Teme Valley and the rural backdrop of the Radnorshire Hills which are close to my home"

My work is held in private collections nationally and also in Germany, Sweden and the USA.
